It is sometimes difficult to distinguish him from Sir William Beauchamp, 4th s. of Thomas, earl of Warwick (d. 1369), who was chamberlain of the Household 1378-80 and captain of Calais 1383, and was summoned to Parliament as Lord Abergavenny between 1392 and his d. in 1411.
