biography text
Peachey was returned in succession to his father, voting against the Hanoverians in 1746. Classed as Opposition in 1747, he seems to have gone over to the Government by 1751, when his brother, James Peachey, later created Lord Selsey, was appointed a groom of the bedchamber to the new Prince of Wales. He died 30 June 1765.
