To add to the earlier biography,1 The Commons 1386-1421, ii. 275-6. it looks as if Bolt’s widow, Ellen, married Henry Smart*, the Winchester man to whom his son, John, a chaplain, conveyed all his property in 1451.2 CCR, 1447-54, pp. 335-6, 504.
