A little may be added to the earlier biography, where Hent is given as ‘unidentified’:1 The Commons 1386-1421, iii. 347. that this MP lived in the borough he represented is clear from his service as a juror at an inquest held at Horsham on 29 May 1422.2 C138/59/48.
Nevertheless, he remains an obscure figure, about whom nothing else has been discovered.
