A little more may be added to the earlier biography.1 The Commons 1386-1421, iii. 725. Merston and his wife sold a messuage in Wycombe to John Redeshull* in 1425, and Redeshull and John Welsbourne I* were among several burgesses to whom the MP conveyed a local rent 20 years later.2 CP25(1)/22/118/17; Centre for Bucks.
