London RO, hr 145/33; 158/65. When Hamon Sutton I*, with whom he had represented the city in Parliament on at least three occasions, was returned to sit for Lincolnshire on 25 Dec. 1430, he stood as one of his mainpernors. He attested the Lincoln election of 7 Apr. 1432, the only occasion between 1425 and 1435 on which he was not returned.5 C219/14/2, 3. Walsh was one of the four Lincoln citizens who, in August 1447, returned an award between the community of the city and the Gilbertine priory of St. Katherine. He was still alive in the autumn of 1453 when still acting as clerk for the recognizances of debt.6 Lincs. AO, Lincoln city recs., White bk. L1/3/1, f. 77; C241/237/2.
