biography text
There were at least four contemporaries of whom the most likely to have been returned for Yarmouth in 1586 is the above, a neighbour of Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon, father of Sir George Carey, the borough patron. Little is known about him except in connexion with family settlements. Administration of his estate was granted to his son Thomas, esquire of the body to Charles I, on 18 Nov. 1631.1Vis. Bucks.
