Homer came into Parliament for Taunton through the influence of his family when the death of Alexander Pym created a vacancy in February 1585. He died in February 1621 and was buried in Cloford church.1Collinson, Som. ii. 206; M.T. Recs. i. 260, 294; C2 Eliz. H. 23/43.
