biography text
Hannam had considerable Dorset estates and was a benefactor to Wimborne Minster. He presumably owed his seat at East Looe to a court connexion through his grandfather, Chief Justice Popham. He was in Geneva in December 1600. He died intestate 28 Aug. 1625.1Vis. Dorset (Harl. Soc. xx), 51; Sir Wm. Pole, Collections, 262 (ex inf. Rev. D. C.
