Coxe acquired by marriage the manor of Lower Lypiatt, where his son John is described as having ‘a handsome house and a large estate’.1Rudder, Glos. 713. A Tory, he lost his office in 1714, thereafter voting consistently against the Government. He did not stand in 1722, dying 17 Oct. 1728.
