Returned for Hull at a by-election in 1734 and re-elected at the ensuing general election, Henry Maister voted regularly with the Government. He did not stand in 1741. In 1743 he lost his wife and two children in a fire which destroyed his house at Hull.1Gent. Mag. 1743, p. 217. He died 15 Dec. 1744.
