Descended from a family of Lincolnshire yeomen, Pacey owned property in Boston, which he successfully contested in 1722 as a Tory. In the county election of 1723 he ‘made all the interest he could’ for the Tory candidate, Sir Neville Hickman.2Letter from W. Johnson, 15 Dec. 1724, Spalding Gentlemen’s Soc. mss. He voted against the Administration on the civil list arrears in April, and died 10 Dec. 1729.
