biography text
Pakington succeeded his father as a Tory for Worcestershire in 1727. Re-elected unopposed in 1734, he voted against the Administration in all recorded divisions except on the motion for the removal of Walpole in February 1741. He did not stand again and died 24 Sept. 1748.
