Returned for Colchester on petition in 1742, Savill voted against the Administration in all recorded divisions. His name was sent to the French Government in 1743 as a faithful supporter of the House of Stuart.2AEM and D. Angl. 82, ff. 149-57; see under GRAY, Charles. He did not stand in 1747, and died 2 Apr. 1763.
