biography text
Salusbury was a man of humble birth who gained considerable electoral interest at Liverpool through a fortunate marriage. He became an agent of Sir Robert Walpole; and was rewarded with a place, which in 1754 he exchanged for a secret service pension of £500 per annum. He died 9 Mar. 1756.
