Thomas Brooke was a neighbour and kinsman (second cousin twice removed) of Peter Legh, and sat on his interest at Newton. Brooke’s only recorded speech in his first Parliament was on 27 Nov. 1787 when he seconded the Address. He voted with Pitt on the Regency.

He died 20 June 1820.
