biography text
Fludyer entered Parliament on the family interest at Chippenham; was classed by Robinson in March 1783 as ‘country gentleman; doubtful’; voted for Fox’s East India bill; but next went over to Pitt and was classed as ‘pro’ by Robinson in January 1784, and as ‘Administration’ by Stockdale, 19 Mar. He voted with Pitt during the Regency crisis. No speech by him is recorded before 1790.
He died 15 Apr. 1837.
