b. 28 Mar. 1739, 2nd s. of Francis Reynolds. m. (1) 10 Oct. 1774, Mary (d. May 1789), da. of Thomas Provis of Shepton Mallet, 2s.; (2) 18 Jan. 1791, Sarah, da. of Gilbert Jodrell of Ankerwycke, wid. of Robert Child of Osterley, s.p. suc. bro. as 3rd Baron Ducie 11 Sept. 1785; took name and arms of Moreton 1786.

Returned on the family interest at Lancaster, Reynolds was classed in William Adam’s list of the new Parliament as Opposition with a query. He does not appear in the division lists on parliamentary reform, 18 Apr. 1785, or Pitt’s Irish commercial proposals, 13 May 1785, and apparently did not speak in the House.

He died 20 Aug. 1808.
