Returned for Yarmouth at the general election of 1774 on the interest of his father-in-law, Worsley made way in February 1775 for his second cousin, James Worsley. He was returned for another borough under Holmes control in December 1775, but no vote in the Commons is recorded until 8 Mar. 1780, when he supported Lord North’s Administration. He continued to vote regularly with North until the end. There is no record of any intervention in debate. He died in August 1782.
