BAYNHAM, John (b.1565), of the Middle Temple, London.

Baynham may have obtained his seat at Queenborough either through the influence of (Sir) Edward Hoby, who must have known him at the Middle Temple in the 1580s, or through his relation William Baynham. Baynham’s name is not mentioned in the parliamentary journals of 1593, but as burgess for Queenborough he could have served on a committee concerning kerseys (23 Mar.). In November 1614 his inn of court fined him £5 for not reading.
