Temple 1713; travelled in Holland and Germany 1716. m. 9 Apr. 1719, Anne (d. 19 Aug. 1752), 2nd da. of Richard Newport, M.P., 2nd Earl of Bradford, sis. of Henry, Lord Newport, 4s. 2da. suc. fa. as 4th Bt. 23 July 1747.

Bridgeman, related to Robert Lloyd, entered politics as a Whig under the auspices of his father-in-law Lord Bradford. Defeated at Shrewsbury but returned on petition by the influence of the ministry, to whom he never gave a vote,1John Sambrooke to Wm. Forester, 4 Oct. 1733, Forester mss, Willey Park. he did not stand again. He died 25 July 1764.
