Papillon to Sir Philip Yorke, 1 Aug. 1727, Add. 35585, f. 71. Unseated on petition, he died on 8 Apr. 1729, ‘in Newgate where he was imprisoned for debt’.3Hist. Reg. 1729, p. 24.
