Brought in for Horsham on the family interest, Ingram gave all his recorded votes for the Government. On succeeding to the peerage he completed the contract made by his brother Arthur to buy burgages at Horsham from Charles Eversfield, thereby gaining complete control of the borough.1W. Albery, Parl.
