Aubrey was returned for Wallingford with his brother’s support.1Sir John Aubrey to Pitt, 8 Apr. 1787, Chatham mss. In William Adam’s list of May 1784 he is classed as an Administration supporter; he voted for Pitt’s parliamentary reform proposals, 18 Apr. 1785, and for Richmond’s fortifications plan, 27 Feb. 1786. On 12 Sept. 1787 he unsuccessfully applied to Pitt for promotion in the army.2Ibid. Like his brother, Aubrey did not vote on the Regency, 1788-9. There is no record of his having spoken in the House.

Aubrey died 15 Jan. 1814.
