Greville was returned unopposed for Warwick on his family interest. His first recorded vote was with Opposition over Wilkes’s petition, 27 Jan. 1769, but during the rest of his time in the Commons he voted with Administration. Only one speech by him is reported—moving the Address at the beginning of the session, 13 Nov. 1770.
The Royal Register described him in 1780 as ‘a quiet inoffensive character, little known but by persons of taste and virtu’.1Quoted CP.
He died 2 May 1816.
