biography text

Strode was returned as one of Sir Thomas Worsley’s candidates after a contest at Yarmouth, but was unseated on petition. Almost certainly he never spoke in the House, and it is doubtful if he ever voted. He does not seem to have made any other attempt to enter Parliament.

He died 21 July 1809.
