TOWNSHEND, Hon. John Thomas (1764-1831).

The circumstances of Townshend’s return for Newport have not been ascertained. In Parliament he followed his father and supported Lowther’s Pitt. There is no record of his having spoken in the House before 1790.

He died 20 Jan. 1831.
