Clerk of the market for the Household 13 Mar. 1461–?1470. CPR, 1461–7, p. 8. Debenham was granted this office for life but would have lost it at the restoration of Hen. VI in 1470. William Tyler was appointed clerk on 22 Mar. 1471 (CPR, 1467–77, p. 239) but there is no evidence that the MP regained the office after Edw. IV had recovered his throne.
