b. c.1407, He was said to be 24 ‘and more’ at the inq. held on his father’s death in 1431, the same age in the inq. held on the death of his great-uncle, John Gerard of Ince in 1434, and 34 ‘and more’ at his mother’s death in 1441: CHES2/103, m. 7; 106, m. 1; 115, m. 5d.
