J.p. Norwich Aug. 1446, 1451–d. Segryme was mistakenly named ‘Richard’ in the commission of Aug. 1446: CPR, 1441–6, p. 475. While mayor, he was ex officio a j.p. since Norwich’s charter of 1452 made all aldermen who had served as mayor j.p.s for as long as they remained aldermen.
