b. c.1426, s. and h. of William Swynnerton (d. bef. May 1429) of Swynnerton by his w. Ellen Trumwyn. A tomb was erected to this couple in Swynnerton church, but survives only in the antiquarian record: Wm. Salt Arch. Soc. vii (2), 52. m. by May 1450, Anne (c.1435-27 Mar. 1470), da. and coh. of Thomas Swynnerton (d.1448) of Hilton, by his w. Elizabeth (fl.1449), at least 2s.
