GREENHURST, John, of Ketton, Rutland and Maid’s Moreton, Bucks.

This MP was probably a local man, related to Thomas Greenhurst of Horsham, who in 1440 together with his wife Joan held a house and land at Cowfold, some six miles from the town. Suss. Feet of Fines (Suss. Rec. Soc. xxiii), no. 3041. However, save for the appearance of his name on the parliamentary return of 1422, John has not been traced in the records.
