Maunser appeared in person in the court of common pleas in Michaelmas term 1423 and the following Hilary term to bring a plea against John Segrave, a wool merchant of Billingshurst in Sussex for a debt of £10, and against a butcher from his home town of Midhurst who together with a carpenter and tanner from Arundel owed him 50s.
