In 1634, acquired moiety of a lease of rectory of Bishop Burton, Yorks., at £38 p.a. rent and worth, on improvement, £196 p.a.LPL, COMM.XIIa/18, f. 82. In 1638, purchased a messuage in Bootham, York.C54/3158/15. In 1649, purchased from commrs. for the sale of church lands a farm in the former diocese of Lincs. for £704.Col. Top et Gen. i. 287.
