In 1646, his estate (in possession) inc. manor of Studley, farms and lands in Hutton Conyers, tithes in Copt Hewick and Hutton Conyers, two houses in Ripon and a messuage in Nunwick (mortgaged to Brain Stapylton* in 1641 for payment of £600); (in the right of his wife) lands in South and North Kirkby, several houses in York and lands near the city; and (in reversion) the messuage of Newhall in Hutton Park.W.
