In 1646, his estate consisted of manors of Barton-le-Street, Bentley, Dalby and Huntington, lands in Felgill, Muscoates and Whitwell, Sheriff Hutton Park, Yorks. and two manors in Suff.; reckoned to be worth c. £1,225 p.a. but with rents and charges amounting to c. £220 p.a.
