In 1654, purchased Blackfryars at Stamford for about £750. Estate worth more than £1,000 p.a. in the 1660s. In 1678, settled property in Lincs. (inc. Blackfryars) and London worth £500 p.a. upon his son, and purchased a house at Barholm, near Stamford, for £1,500. He raised £7,500 in marriage portions for his two daughters.
