through marriage with Elizabeth Grosse acquired property in Marazion, Grampound, Liskeard, Saltash, Cornw. and Plymouth, Devon, c.1652;Antony House, Carew-Pole BS/14/3. fined £30,000 in 1666, and forced to sell his lands, but presumably this did not include the patrimonial estates in Cornwall, which remained in his father’s hands until 1677.
