Julines Beckford purchased Steepleton Iwerne in 1745 for £12,600,
He sat at Salisbury on his brother’s interest, and had to face a contest both in 1754 and 1761. Like his brother he was classed by Dupplin in 1754 as a Tory, and in 1761 was not sent Newcastle’s parliamentary whip. He appears in none of the minority division lists 1762-4; and in the Court and City Register for 1764 is described as being in Jamaica, where he died 27 Nov. 1764.
