Although no evidence of such a marriage survives, he was clearly close to the family (Bradfer-Lawrence mss, BL/O/L/24; CIPM Hen. VII, i. 330; ii. 37; Suff. RO, Ipswich, Metfield parish recs., FC 91/L1/26) and his arms appear alongside those of Jermyn at Alston Court in Suff. (2) prob. by Oct. 1452, Margaret (d. bef. Sept. 1462), da. of Edmund Thurston (d.c.1464) of Brundish, Suff., 3da.; Norf. RO, Norwich consist. ct. Reg. Betyns, f. 89v; Reg. Gelour, f. 178. (3) Margaret (d.1484), CFR, xxi. no. 739. wid. of Robert Pakenham (d.1464) of Shropham, Norf.; (4) Agnes (d.1505), Norwich consist. ct. Reg.
