It is just possible that this Katherine was the wid. of the London mercer Henry Osbarn, who is known to have married a Thomas Gille. Yet this is more likely to have been the Thomas Gille who was admitted to the Mercers’ Co. in 1421-2 on completion of an apprenticeship with Robert Domenyk, which he had begun in 1405-6: Med. Acct.
