biography text
Returned as a Tory for Tamworth, Bracebridge, a practising lawyer, voted against the Government after 1715. In 1721 his name was sent to the Pretender in a list of probable supporters in the event of a Jacobite rising.1Stuart mss 65/16. Re-elected after a contest in 1722, but unseated on petition, he did not stand again. He died 1735 (buried 11 Nov.).
