Parker was returned in 1734 for Peterborough as a Tory on his family interest, voting against the Government. He did not stand in 1741 but was re-elected unopposed in succession to the 3rd Lord Fitzwilliam in 1742, voting against the Government till 1746, when he supported them on the Hanoverians.1Owen, Pelhams, 307, n. 3. He died 5 Feb. 1777.
