The son of a successful lawyer, M.P. for Weobley in five Parliaments under James II and William III, Price was returned for Weobley as a Hanoverian Tory in 1713, but did not stand in the next reign. Re-elected unopposed in 1727, he voted with the Government in all recorded divisions, except on the Hessian troops in 1730, when he voted with the Opposition. He did not stand again, dying 17 Mar. 1764.
