biography text
A relation, perhaps even a son, of the John Andrew ‘senior’ who sat for Cricklade in the Parliament of 1369, the younger John served as a juror at an inquisition post mortem held at Cricklade in 1371 alongside his elder namesake. The latter is not recorded thereafter, but the former again served on juries at inquisitions post mortem at Cricklade on four occasions between 1374 and 1377 and once more at Swindon in 1376. Thomas Weston was his surety for attendance at the Parliaments of 1381, 1382 (May) and 1383 (Feb.), as well as being his companion in those of 1380 (Jan.) and 1385.1Wilts. IPM Edw. III (Brit. Rec.
