No other record of a John Breton ‘junior’ has been traced. It may be that the John Breton who sat in the same Parliament of 1386 for Lostwithiel (having previously represented Bodmin five times) was also returned by the burgesses of Bodmin, his description as ‘junior’ being inserted in the return in error.
