On 20 June 1401 Cardrewe, in association with three other Cornishmen and sometime parliamentary burgesses ( Thomas Colyn, John Skewys and John Penrose of Methleigh), entered into recognizances with Henry, prince of Wales, for £24. This suggests that he had something to do with the administration of the duchy of Cornwall, but nothing else is known about him.1CCR, 1399-1401, p. 398.
