Fisher witnessed deeds at Hythe from 1366. The maltolts he paid show that he traded in sheep, oxen and horses. In 1377, or thereabouts, he was sent to the Weald to buy wood for the construction of a new common barge for Hythe.3Ibid. ff. 2, 55; accts. box 27, f. 56.
