biography text
Nothing is known of William Fowler for certain, but he is perhaps to be identified with the man of this name who attended the elections of the knights of the shire at the county court at Dorchester in 1426 and 1429, held two houses in West Street, Dorchester, in his own right, and another in North Street as a trustee, and acted as an executor of the will of John Jordan of Wolfeton.1C219/13/4, 14/1; Recs.
