biography text
Although he was probably related to Thomas Freeman, the subject of this biography remains a shadowy figure about whom little is known. In November 1412 he witnessed a conveyance of a rent in Huntingdon made by the prioress of Hinchingbrooke to Robert Peck II and John Denton, so he evidently had existing connexions with the borough before his election.1Add.
